The Ministry of Education and Technical Education, represented by the Egyptian-Japanese Schools Management Unit, organized a conference “The impact of Japanese education on building a children’s personality” in cooperation with the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University, with the aim of introducing the new teaching method in Japanese-Egyptian schools. Dr. Majid Abu Al-Enain, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University, praised the Japanese schools in Egypt, describing them as the great edifice that aims to develop the child’s personality and make it an innovative personality, in addition to its endeavor to create a full decision-making generation, noting that Japanese schools are not only concerned with wishing academic capabilities For students, it also works to enhance non-cognitive skills. Mr. Omura, the chief representative of the International Cooperation Authority Cairo Office (JICA) also spoke about the role of Japanese schools and Tokatsu activities, saying that the goal is not only limited to knowledge and skills but also thinking and the ability to deal with them so as to find solutions to problems and this is achieved through joint cooperation between Japan and the Center for Curriculum Development Affiliated to the Ministry of Education and Technical Education for Self-Development and Innovation, pointing out that the application of “Tokatsu” activities are aimed at self-development and improving the quality of education in Egypt, stressing that the kindergarten stage follows the comprehensive development and the launch of a fruitful new education system.
